Numerical Modelling and Application Potential of the Cold Spray Method

The article presents the theoretical and practical aspects of the Cold Spray method numerical modelling,indicates the main numerical analysis research areas(particle speed modelling and particle deformation modelling),determines the major parameters considered during simulation, demonstrates analysis-based correlations as well as presents recommended software, modelling examples and their major problems,modelling result verification methods and their practical usability. The article also evaluates the usability of numerical analyses by demonstrating the application potential of Cold Spray method.
